It is my distinct pleasure to introduce Mr. Andres Rodriguez as the new Band Director for Canutillo High School and our CISD Music Administrator. Mr. Rodriguez brings with him an impressive 20-year career as a music instructor, marked by significant achievements at both regional and state levels.

I am thrilled to announce the launch of our new district website, canutillo-isd.org, on Monday. This launch represents the culmination of several months of dedicated effort from our Communications Office, aimed at creating a streamlined and user-friendly portal that better serves our students, parents, and taxpayers.

The Canutillo Independent School District this week announced the hiring of veteran music instructor Andres Rodriguez as the new band director for Canutillo High School. Rodriguez will begin his tenure on July 8.

Congressman Silvestre & Carolina Reyes Elementary School and Northwest Early College High School in the Canutillo Independent School District were named to the Educational Results Partnership Honor Roll list for their work in academically preparing students for the future workforce.

Canutillo High School’s Candice Marrufo and Alderete Middle School’s Nidia Avila have been named finalists for regional Principal of the Year honors by the Texas Association of Secondary School Principals – an award honoring the top campus administrators in the El Paso area.
