Message from the Board President - June 21

This is the image for the news article titled Message from the Board President - June 21I am thrilled to announce the launch of our new district website, canutillo-isd.org, on Monday. This launch represents the culmination of several months of dedicated effort from our Communications Office, aimed at creating a streamlined and user-friendly portal that better serves our students, parents, and taxpayers.

Our new website is designed with the needs of our community in mind, offering improved ease of use, greater accessibility, and enhanced responsiveness for mobile device users. The previous website, while functional, presented several challenges, and we are excited to replace it with a product that facilitates better connectivity and information flow within our community.

The new canutillo-isd.org focuses on a modern design and prioritizes the type of information our community frequently seeks: student news, campus information and easy-to-use programs. We understand that our website is often the first point of contact for many families and community members, and we are committed to providing a resource that is not only functional but also welcoming and informative.

One of the key features of the new site is its enhanced user experience. The interface is intuitive, making navigation simpler and more efficient. Whether you are a parent looking for your child’s school information, a student seeking the latest district news or a taxpayer interested in district initiatives, the new canutillo-isd.org is designed to meet your needs quickly and effectively.

In addition to its user-friendly design, the new website will eventually include several significant updates and new features that I am particularly excited about. One of these is a comprehensive welcome guide for new families moving into our district. This guide will provide essential information to help new families get acclimated to our schools and community, making their transition as smooth as possible. Be on the lookout for that feature very soon!

Another major addition is the upcoming Bond 2024 portal. This portal will offer unprecedented transparency and detail about the bond projects approved by our community in May. Taxpayers will have access to up-to-date information on every aspect of the bond projects, from the design phase and contracting to construction and grand openings. This level of transparency underscores our commitment to accountability and ensures that our community is well-informed about how their investments are being utilized to enhance our district. Our bond managing company Procedeo is already hard at work developing that aspect of the new website.

Parents and students will also notice new campus web pages that align with the design of the district website. These individual school sites will offer consistent navigation and a unified look, making it easier for families to find information across different campuses. This cohesive design approach ensures that all parts of our website are visually connected and easy to use.

The development of this new website has been a labor of love, reflecting our dedication to improving communication and engagement within our district. We believe that an effective website is a critical tool for fostering a strong school community, and we are confident that the new canutillo-isd.org will serve as a valuable resource for everyone involved.

I encourage all members of the Canutillo ISD community to visit the new website starting Monday afternoon. Explore the new features, experience the improved navigation and enjoy the fresh, modern look. We are proud of the work that has gone into this project and are excited to share it with you.

The launch of the new Canutillo ISD website marks a significant step forward in our ongoing efforts to enhance communication and engagement within our district. We are committed to providing our community with the tools and resources needed to stay informed and connected, and this new website is a testament to that commitment.

Thank you for your continued support, and ¡Viva Canutillo!

Sincerely,

Armando Rodriguez
President, Canutillo ISD Board of Trustees
