The annual District Science Fair showcases the top projects district-wide from grades three through fifth, highlighting the young minds' creativity and innovation.

“The District Science Fair is always a great event to display the creative and inquisitive minds of our students,” said Superintendent Dr. Pedro Galaviz. “It is amazing to see all their innovative ideas and how they are able to pose questions and use the scientific method to get answers. The projects are always amazing and get better and better every year.”

Students had the opportunity to present their projects before judges as well as take part in interactive, fun and engaging learning activities in areas of engineering, technology and math.

Among the impressive array of projects, third grader Emilio Ortiz from Bill Childress Elementary, fourth grader Bianca Carrillo from Canutillo Elementary School and fifth grade student Victoria Diaz from Jose Damian Elementary emerged as the Grand Champions, their projects standing out for their ingenuity and scientific rigor.
