“We are very excited to come together as a community and be able to do this for our kids in a way that is not just about the coats, but also allows them to have a day full of interactive fun and holiday celebration as well,” said Executive Director of Student Support Services Dr. Monica Reyes.

The collaboration resulted in over 100 kids from CISD schools receiving coats as well as a fun outing hosted by community partners Charlie Clark Nissan. Students arrived early at the dealership and spent the day partaking in an array of activities such as playing games, dancing, crafting and eating pizza contributed by Little Caesars. They also received a visit from Santa Claus himself to ring in the holidays.

“It is our honor to host and support a great cause like this. We are all about giving back to our community, especially when it involves children,” added Martin Rocha, Marketing Director for Charlie Clark Nissan El Paso.
