Northwest Early College High School students kick off new school year

“We are excited for all our students to be back and ready to kick off a new school year,” said Principal Frank Clark. “Our incoming freshmen seem eager to adopt the Griffin way and our returning upperclassmen are ready to keep up the momentum and have a very productive year.”

Last week, the campus welcomed 92 freshmen who began a week prior to the rest of the student body. The Class of 2027 participated in the annual Griffin Academy. The week-long academy provides programming geared towards instilling a service-oriented mindset, building camaraderie, teaching foundations for successful time management and setting expectations on what it means to be a Griffin.

The entire NWECHS community are looking forward to another school year filled with new opportunities to serve the community and keep their campus in the spotlight as being one of the top performing high schools in the nation.
