This is the image for the news article titled Canutillo ISD Celebrates 100th Day of InstructionStudents in the Canutillo Independent School District on Tuesday celebrated reaching the 100th day of learning for the 2022-23 school year the only way they know how: by having tons of fun!

This important milestone was marked by parades, dress-up days and even sweet treats at schools in every corner of the District.

“Every day in Canutillo is a day of celebration but reaching 100 days of fun and learning is a goal that needs special recognition,” said Superintendent Dr. Pedro Galaviz. “Today, we also learn that while 100 days have passed, we still have 70 days to go until the end of the school year and that we have to make the most out of each of those days.”

Students at most schools were allowed to skip the uniform and instead dress as a 100-year-old person in celebration of the occasion. Some students instead chose to wear T-shirts with funny messages about the 100 days of instructions.

At Bill Childress Elementary School, adults were treated to a coffee as a sign of gratitude for their work during the last 100 days, while students celebrated the milestone with a parade. At Deanna Davenport Elementary, students rocked the catwalk with a fashion show featuring 100th Day of Learning T-shirts.
