The MXLab, operated by Learning Undefeated is a custom outfitted STEM learning space that offers engaging, immersive, hands-on STEM experiences for students and teachers, teaching science, technology, engineering, and mathematics topics and skills.

The Texas Mobile STEM Lab, in partnership with the Texas Education Agency, offers cross-curricular STEM experiences. These activities introduce STEM to students allowing them to engage with the engineering design process. Learning Undefeated provided the materials needed to complete engineering design challenges focused on brainstorming, designing, and testing. All activities focused on students designing solutions to problems and allow for collaboration and exploration of the content.

Jessica Carrillo, Reyes Elementary Principal, says that the school is a STEM campus committed to providing high-quality instruction using STEM activities aligned with the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS).

“Our students are learning to design solutions to problems and to think outside the box,” Carrillo said. “This mobile lab not only engaged our students but made authentic and lifelong connections. We are proud and excited to offer this unique opportunity to our students and teachers."
