Canutillo Middle School sixth-graders were the cream of the crop this week after earning the highest attendance rate at the campus and therefore winning their very own ice cream party.
By showing up to school for more days than their seventh and eighth-grade counterparts, the CMS sixth graders were given the prize of ice cream sandwiches, drumsticks and other icy treats.
Way to go CMS sixth-graders!
Canutillo ISD is soon going to launch more incentives to improve attendance.
